Handmade terracotta is produced in many phases. After kneading the clay with water, we proceed to shape the bricks. The brick is laid on the floor where it will remain for a few days, to ensure that it dries and eliminates all the moisture contained in it. Then proceed to the cooking phase; the oven reaches the temperature of 980 °C, then gradually falls down.
After cooking, it is passed to the enamelling and decoration phase. This phase of processing is just as delicate. The decorator performs the decorations with the old technique of dusting, with a brush on the raw enamel.
The second firing is always carried out at 980 °C. The enamel melts and acquires brilliance, ready for installation.
